Final piece

This is my final piece for my coursework. i have got the two inspiration off the piece of work on the right the top picture is a piece of art i saw when i visited a art gallery when i was in manchester. the bottom one is a picture of a piece architecture when i was in London in the summer, i felt it would work well with my theme and i have tried to incorporate it in my work before but i have found a way to uses it in my work.

My final piece is based on my artists Sally Booth, John Chamberlain. i have looked mainly sally booth in this because she creates little house out of acetate and draws from inside the building what every is in the outside. however i have put my own little twist on it by i have draw from pictures i have taken of iconic structures in the UK i have visited. then i have transferred them onto acetate and then i crumpled them to give them the 3D look and to make it look like the picture i had taken from London. i wanted to incorporate my second artist Chamberlain which he works with metal so decided to rap the acetate round the can and heat it up and make it distorted to give it an authentic look and make it look like the picture that i took in London. I like how it has turned out i feel it is worked better when a light is shined inside showing off all the contours of the sculpture.
