My final piece is based on my artists Sally Booth, John Chamberlain. i have looked mainly sally booth in this because she creates little house out of acetate and draws from inside the building what every is in the outside. however i have put my own little twist on it by i have draw from pictures i have taken of iconic structures in the UK i have visited. then i have transferred them onto acetate and then i crumpled them to give them the 3D look and to make it look like the picture i had taken from London. i wanted to incorporate my second artist Chamberlain which he works with metal so decided to rap the acetate round the can and heat it up and make it distorted to give it an authentic look and make it look like the picture that i took in London. I like how it has turned out i feel it is worked better when a light is shined inside showing off all the contours of the sculpture.

Final piece
This is my final piece for my coursework. i have got the two inspiration off the piece of work on the right the top picture is a piece of art i saw when i visited a art gallery when i was in manchester. the bottom one is a picture of a piece architecture when i was in London in the summer, i felt it would work well with my theme and i have tried to incorporate it in my work before but i have found a way to uses it in my work.

Experimental Sketch Book Work
- I have looked at trying to make the sky look like it is moving by using white emulation and blue acrylic and smearing it with cardboard and created the cloud by using emulation and a sponge. i feel i have done what i have achieved to acheieve
- I have experimented with using different background with the drawing of the Shard on acetate and then I have put it on the background of layers of pictures I have taken of my pipe sculpture
- This is my drawing of the shard onto acetate just on a plane blank page to show the drawing off, i did not want to take the attention off the drawing.
- I have used my drawing on acetate of shard and heat gunner the acetate to make it look like it is 3D and added a charcoal drawing of my sculpture underneath.
- I have taken y transfer of the drawing of the Shard and added a charcoal drawing of my pipes sculpture. I do not like it because it is plane and simple there is not enough going on the page.
- This is a different type of transfer using white acrylic i like how it is giving off and old and rusted look like the pipes that are used in my sculpture.
- I have used the photo of the shard and used a acetate transfer as the background to enhance the lines of the Shard. I feel it has been successful I would like to do more of this in the near future.
- I have tried the same effect but with my pipes this time but instead of adding the drawing over the top I have drawn it on the page and picked curtain lines out to make them stand out more then added the acetate transfer over the top. I do not feel it has been successful as the other way round.
- I have taken a photo of my sculpture that i have layered onto of each other using photoshop. then I have used the acrylic transfer so give it an old rusted look of the pipes. I feel this has been successful and i am planning to do something with this transfer latter on in the course.

- With the next two photos i have just experimented with my acetate transfers on different backgrounds with the first one being the background of two printed out photos of my sculpture standing back. The second one is with the background of charcoal I like it because I like how it gives the copper pipes and extra old rusted look so i feel this has been successful
- This is what I have done to the acrylic transfer of my sculpture. I like how the acetate gives it a shine and how the glue has not dried clear so you can see the white and it gives it an extra texture and older feel of the pipes in the sculpture. I feel this is one of my best experimental pieces.

Drawings of sculpture
- This is the very first edition of the sculpture in the coming weeks I am hoping to do some observational drawings form the sculpture in my own style of drawing. I am planning to add more copper pipes to it when I get the resources. i like how the sculpture looks like it has a walking stick presence of it.
- This is one of the first drawings I did of my sculpture. I focused on the line and shaping of the sculpture not the tone and texture which I will look at in later drawings. I liked how the drawing in the top right hand picture is expressive but also detailed.
- This picture on the left was the second attempted at drawing from my sculpture. I have tried to look at the tone of the pipes but I feel that i have been unsuccessful because I feel the drawing still has to many same tones on it where with the sculpture in real life has not got two of the same tones on the pipes. I would concentrate on the tone more next time rather than the outline of the sculpture.
- I have looked at using different mediums to give the drawings their own style and make them different from each other. I tried to achieve this by adding emulsion to the single part drawings of different sections of the sculpture. I believe this has given the drawings a disconnected look as the pipes are joined by a imaginary pipe. I do not like the look it gives off because it is not defined and detailed enough because i like to see what the drawing is not to make your own mind up of what it is.
