Experimental Sketch Book Work
- I have looked at trying to make the sky look like it is moving by using white emulation and blue acrylic and smearing it with cardboard and created the cloud by using emulation and a sponge. i feel i have done what i have achieved to acheieve
- I have experimented with using different background with the drawing of the Shard on acetate and then I have put it on the background of layers of pictures I have taken of my pipe sculpture
- This is my drawing of the shard onto acetate just on a plane blank page to show the drawing off, i did not want to take the attention off the drawing.
- I have used my drawing on acetate of shard and heat gunner the acetate to make it look like it is 3D and added a charcoal drawing of my sculpture underneath.
- I have taken y transfer of the drawing of the Shard and added a charcoal drawing of my pipes sculpture. I do not like it because it is plane and simple there is not enough going on the page.
- This is a different type of transfer using white acrylic i like how it is giving off and old and rusted look like the pipes that are used in my sculpture.
- I have used the photo of the shard and used a acetate transfer as the background to enhance the lines of the Shard. I feel it has been successful I would like to do more of this in the near future.
- I have tried the same effect but with my pipes this time but instead of adding the drawing over the top I have drawn it on the page and picked curtain lines out to make them stand out more then added the acetate transfer over the top. I do not feel it has been successful as the other way round.
- I have taken a photo of my sculpture that i have layered onto of each other using photoshop. then I have used the acrylic transfer so give it an old rusted look of the pipes. I feel this has been successful and i am planning to do something with this transfer latter on in the course.
- With the next two photos i have just experimented with my acetate transfers on different backgrounds with the first one being the background of two printed out photos of my sculpture standing back. The second one is with the background of charcoal I like it because I like how it gives the copper pipes and extra old rusted look so i feel this has been successful
- This is what I have done to the acrylic transfer of my sculpture. I like how the acetate gives it a shine and how the glue has not dried clear so you can see the white and it gives it an extra texture and older feel of the pipes in the sculpture. I feel this is one of my best experimental pieces.
